What happens with Preacher and Paige on Virgin River?
Paige and Preacher start a romantic relationship before Preacher discovers that she is not who she says she is. Paige has been on the run from her abusive husband, Wes, who eventually finds her in Virgin River, and their encounter ends in Paige killing Wes by pushing him down a flight of stairs.
Vince wanted Paige to trade herself in in exchange for Christopher's safety - but Preacher saved the day by knocking Vince out in order to stop him killing Paige, although it's not clear whether he's dead or not.
“Preacher, I'm sorry I couldn't be honest with you, but I know you'd never accept the truth: the only way Christopher will be safe is if I stop running and give Vince what he wants: me,” reads Paige's letter to Preacher.
At the end of season three, Preacher was approached by Paige's friend Sally, who said she wanted to facilitate a safe reunion between Paige and Christopher—but really, drugged Preacher and lured him into the woods, leaving him for dead in an apparent setup for Vince to come for Christopher. Evidently, it works.
Preach is finally arrested for Monique's murder, and is forced to tell his daughter, Amina, the truth.

Preacher took care of Paige's (Lexa Doig) son Christopher (Chase Petriw) for most of the season while she was on the run after killing Christopher's abusive father. In the season three finale, Jack made Preacher a partner in Jack's Bar.
The ending of Preacher was a typically bloody affair which saw a huge number of characters die as the Apocalypse Revue came to an end. AMC viewers also got an unexpected happy ending for Jesse Custer (played by Dominic Cooper) and Tulip O'Hare (Ruth Negga).
